Nancy is a happily married, faintly frazzled homeschool mom of 3. She’s rarely seen outside the company of a cup of coffee and a good book, and will occasionally pull her nose out to cook dinner for the family. She’s recently discovered a passion for helping others find true freedom in Jesus, and in doing so, become all that they were created to be. Her favorite things are Alan, Lauren, Anna, Teddy, books, coffee, kids and friends. She’s blessed beyond measure, and having a blast following her Papa into her destiny.
Books – Anything that tells a good story! Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter – all the epic stories. The Chosen, by Chaim Potok, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, by Maya Angelou, Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett, and Dooley and the Snort Snoot, by I can’t remember who. I love stories! Did I mention I love a good story?
And everyone, yes, everyone, ought to read Think Differently, Live Differently, by Bob Hamp. Now. No, now.
Movies – As Good As It Gets, Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, Sabrina, and watching stuff that makes my kids laugh.
Music – Yes. Seriously, I love pretty much all music, except country. Unless you count Johnny Cash – ok, maybe some country. Pulling a ‘shuffle’ on my iPod could be mildly dangerous – you just never know what might come up! Recent favorites are Pearl Jam, the Beatles, David Crowder, Switchfoot, Ray LaMontagne, Sting, Regina Spektor, U2, Radiohead, Billy Joel, Patty Griffin, Killers, Miles Davis, Robert Plant…well, you get my drift.
TV – Yeah, well, not a lot. FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL, NCIS, The Mentalist, Phineas and Ferb…yeah, that’s about it. GO COWBOYS!!!
