Leah is a young twenty-something mom to 3 year old Savannah and a baby boy on the way in November. She is also a proud birthmother to a 6 year old daughter in an open adoption. As a recent college graduate with an English degree, she is taking on a new adventure of writing a novel about her adoption story before life gets too hectic with a new baby in the house! Her passions are encouraging young mothers, educating about adoption, and awareness of female issues.

Leah’s Favs:

Books – I love Christian Fiction novels. Anything by Karen Kingsbury is top on my list, I love the Baxter series especially! Eric and Leslie Ludy books are fantastic for nonfiction Christian reading. I also like to indulge in my childhood fantasy side and re-read the Harry Potter series every few years.

Music – Superchic[k] is often heard in our car, my 3 year old jams to it along with me. We also really enjoy Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Bethany Dillon, pretty much anything on the Christian radio stations. And, sometimes I like to tap into my childhood by listening to Hanson (they only get better with age!) and maybe some Jack Johnson every now and then.

Tv – I don’t watch much TV but when I do it’s almost always something on HGTV or TLC. Or, whatever kid show my 3 year old is watching as an excuse to snuggle.
