Brittany is the Executive Director of Captured , a for young women, by young women ministry based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She is a lover of all things coffee; she loves to sing, write, cook, dance, and make people laugh. She is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute and Dallas Baptist University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. Brittany is passionate about cultivating an environment for young women to find wholeness in Christ, for their destinies in Him to be awakened. She desires to establish a solid sisterhood among young women who are blazing a trail, while helping redefine their self worth – based on their identity in Christ. Her heart is to see a marriage of love and justice come to America, abolishing the issues that plague young women today, such as: prostitution and exploitation, human trafficking, and abortion. Books – Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers is one of my all-time favorite books. Loosely based on the story of Hosea, it is a revelatory pursuit of the love of God after our hearts–the love story that just never gets old! Marian Jordan is one of my new favorite writers–man, talk about a young woman who is doing the stuff! She’s written The List and Sex and the City: Uncovered. I’m also a big George Orwell fan and I really geek out over the Swiss-Miss design blog (www.swiss-miss.com).
Music - Bethel Music’s Be Lifted High is my new favorite album! Brian & Jenn Johnson are prophetic and so anointed! When I listen to their songs, I am overwhelmed by the goodness of our God and I fall in love with Him all over again.
TV Shows – I’m not a big TV watcher, but I do love some Law & Order! I also love HGTV; it always inspires me to design, create, oh–and shop at estate sales for unique pieces of furniture and art.
